A journal turns a vague memory of how you traded into a record you can review. This tool lets you log each trade, shows your running win rate and net result, and exports a CSV you can keep or open in a spreadsheet. It works in your browser and nothing is stored on this site.
Trading Journal
Entries live only in this page. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere, so they disappear when you reload or close the tab. Download the CSV to keep them.
How to Use This Tool
- Fill in the trade details straight after each trade, including the reason you took it.
- Select Add trade, and repeat for each trade.
- Download the CSV at the end of the session, because entries are not saved when you leave the page.
How It Works
Net result adds the stake times the payout for each win and subtracts the stake for each loss. The win rate is wins divided by trades logged. Review the reason column as well as the numbers; patterns in why you traded often explain more than the totals.
Limits
This tool uses only the figures you enter. It does not know your broker, your fees or your market, and its output is not advice or a prediction. Test any plan on a demo account first, and read your platform's own terms.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my data stored?
No. Entries stay in the page and are lost when you reload. Download the CSV to keep them.
Can I import old trades?
Not in this version. You can paste data into your own spreadsheet from the CSV.
What should I write as the reason?
The rule or setup that justified the trade. If you cannot name one, that is useful to know.
