Payout percentages are the easiest number to compare and the easiest to misread. A higher payout is better only if everything else is equal, and it rarely is. This tool takes payouts that you have read from your own platforms for the same asset and expiry, and turns each into the win rate you would need just to break even. It does not collect or publish any provider's payouts.

Enter payouts you have read from your own platforms for the same asset and expiry. The tool fetches nothing and ranks nothing; a higher payout lowers the break-even win rate, but fees, limits and terms also matter.

How to Use This Tool

  1. Read the payout for the same asset and expiry on each platform you are considering, at the same time of day.
  2. Type a label and the payout into each row. Add or remove rows as needed.
  3. Compare the break-even win rates. The last column shows how many percentage points each is above the lowest.

What a Payout Difference Really Means

The break-even win rate is 1 divided by (1 plus the payout as a decimal). At an 80% payout it is about 55.6%, at 85% about 54.1% and at 90% about 52.6%. A five-point difference in payout therefore moves the hurdle by roughly one and a half to two points of win rate. That sounds small, but over hundreds of trades it separates a strategy that is just above break-even from one that is just below it.

Payout is only one input. Compare the same product, because payouts differ by asset, expiry and time of day. Look at minimum and maximum stakes, what happens on a tie, whether early closing is allowed and at what price, and how withdrawals work. Check also whether the figure you see is the figure you will get after any charges. Where a platform quotes a buy and sell price, the spread cost tool shows that cost separately.

A payout also says nothing about whether a firm is regulated or whether withdrawals are honoured. Read how to verify a binary options broker before treating a high payout as a reason to deposit. Unusually generous payouts are a point to question, not a point to celebrate; see binary options scam warning signs.

Limits

This page uses only the numbers you type in. It does not fetch prices, payouts or schedules, it does not know your platform, and its output is not advice or a prediction. Check your platform's own terms and test any plan on a demo account first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why use the break-even win rate instead of the payout?

Because it shows the win rate your strategy has to beat. It puts different payouts on the same scale.

Should I choose the highest payout?

Not automatically. Terms, regulation, withdrawals and execution matter as well, and a higher payout is not a guarantee of better results.

Do payouts change?

Yes. They can vary by asset, expiry and time, so compare like with like and record the date.

Does the tool tell me which provider is best?

No. It compares only the numbers you enter and ranks nothing.
